Theater and performance details:
Raisin in the Sun is a powerful drama about a family – and what it’s made of – as it faces poverty and prejudice. The play will be performed in the Chace Theater of Trinity Rep, which is located at 201 Washington St, Downtown Providence.
The play features the talents of four M.F.A. students: Lynnette Freeman as Ruth, Charlie Hudson III as George, Jude Sandy as Asagai, and Angela K. Thomas as Beneatha.
In its 44-year history, Trinity Rep has produced 56 world premieres and mounted national and international tours. The Brown University/Trinity Rep Consortium offers professional training for actors and directors in a three-year MFA program.
