Teaching Fellows

Teaching fellows (TFs) are advanced doctoral students with teaching experience who are responsible for the design and instruction of their own courses. Need and eligibility for TFs varies across departments. Appointments are made by the Graduate School on the basis of a departmental recommendation.

A TF’s financial award is the same as that of a TA, except the stipend is slightly higher. Double work appointments are not allowed.
