Stanley Fish, a prolific scholarly writer and New York Times blogger, is the Davidson-Kahn Distinguished University Professor of Humanities and Law at Florida International University. He is dean emeritus at the College of Liberals Arts and Sciences, University of Illinois, Chicago, and has taught at the University of California at Berkeley, Johns Hopkins University, and Duke University. He holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Yale University.
